Method 1: Taking a Full-Screen Screenshot on Windows 8, 10, and 11
- Go to the screen you want to capture.
- Locate the “Print Screen” key on your keyboard, usually found in the upper-right side of the main keyboard.
- Press the Windows key and the Print Screen key at the same time. This will take a screenshot of the current screen.
- The screenshot will be saved in the “Screenshots” folder inside the “Pictures” folder, labeled “Screenshot (number)” based on the order it was taken.
Method 2: Taking a Full-Screen Screenshot on Any Windows Computer
- Go to the screen you want to capture.
- Press the Print Screen key, typically found in the upper-right side of the keyboard. This will take a picture of the entire screen’s contents.
- Open Paint program and press Ctrl+V to paste the screenshot.
